Meditation Retreat in Assisi

This unique meditation retreat in Assisi, Italy, allows us to soak in its peace and sacred presence.   Honoring all backgrounds and faiths, we offer an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience. Each retreat period is six days and five nights. Exploring hidden treasures, gardens, and chapels in this ancient hilltop town brings us closer to the simple peace that St. Francis and St. Clare found.  We attract a contemplative community of people seeking inner peace and happiness.  No meditation experience necessary.  We will share the stories from the lives of St Francis and St Clare, which reveal their rich inner journey.  Each of our teachers enriches the retreats with their lifelong dedication to spiritual practice.

General Daily Program ~

Meditation is at 9 am and 3 pm, followed by a gentle walk to a sacred location with meditation on site. We close with a meditation around 6 pm each day.  Our general daily program is adjusted according to the weather and flow of the program.  We are walking with Francis & Clare as if we were their brother & sister friars, while each connecting to our own personal retreat. Their message is timeless and still speaks to us today.

Breakfast is followed by sitting meditation and mindful walks (interspersed throughout the day) to the sacred chapels, gardens, or into the surrounding forests of Assisi.

What’s included in your retreat:

• Retreats led in English by native speakers.
• Lodging in a Private room with en suite bathroom / or a couples room
• Shuttle service during the retreat to some sacred sites
• Two – three guided meditations daily in our retreat room.
• Four to six Guided Meditative Walks to Sacred Sites with meditation on site
• Meals:  Daily Continental Breakfast.  Three group meals are included (generally Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday).
